Event Details

Barbara Vaughn will teach you how to weave your own Phyllis's Tote basket. This basket This split leather handled tote is woven on a 7" wide by 17" long slotted racetrack base to to a height of 10". This basket is a great all purpose. Make sure to bring a lunch. 

Barbara is a recently retired Overton County School teacher who has been weaving baskets for 40 plus years. She learned most of my weaving skills from Katherine Smith who used to live in Monroe. Often when she designed a new basket, Barbara would be her new pattern tester. This forced her to learn to read patterns and how to write her own patterns,
