    For Edgar Fierro, a veteran who served eight years in the military, spending time outdoors is more than just a pastime—it's a path to healing and peace. After deploying three times and overcoming the mental and physical challenges of combat, Edgar found solace on the bike trails at Tennessee State Parks. Edgar’s story is a testament to the transformative impact of nature and the incredible support nature can offer to veterans.

    • 25% off overnight stays at cabins and camping year-round and 50% off during the off-season (Dec–Feb)* 
    • 25% off overnight stays at The Lodges year-round* 
    • 20% discount on golf green fees and cart rentals year-round
    • 15% discount on the retail price of select items at gift shops and golf shops

    *Premium campsites, rooms, or cabins will not be discounted.

    Complimentary Stays and Plays on Service Branch Birthdays

    Tennessee State Parks is proud to celebrate all branches of service and offer a "Salute to Service" with complimentary camping and golf to veterans on each service branch's birthday, leading up to the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. All veterans of any service branch are eligible for a complimentary one-night camping stay and waived green fees on the following dates: 

    • Air Force - Thursday, September 18, 2025
    • Army - Saturday, June 14, 2026
    • Coast Guard - Monday, August 4, 2025
    • Navy - Monday, October 13, 2025
    • Marines - November 10, 2025
    • National Guard - December 13, 2025
    • Space Force - Saturday, December 20, 2025
    • Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11, 2026

Reservations for the one-night camping complimentary dates can be made anytime. Premium campsites are excluded from the offer. Official ID and proof of veteran status are required upon check-in.
