Come celebrate the first day of autumn with a guided 2-mile hike led by Ranger Josh through the scenic and beautiful Grundy Forest Day Loop!
Along the hike, we’ll see two waterfalls, several cascades, and sections of old-growth forest. Large portions of the trail follow the beautiful Fiery Gizzard Creek, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes suitable for the hike, as portions of the trail include rocky and root-covered terrain. Be sure to bring plenty of water and any snacks you may need to keep you fueled throughout the hike.

The park is composed of approximately 7,811 acres and boasts some of the best hiking and backcountry camping in the region. There are lots of areas to explore, including Fiery Gizzard, Denny Cove, and the Historical Grundy Lakes.
