Golden Hour Field Sketch in the Park

Event Details

Bring your sketch book and learn to look at nature like a naturalist! SIR Kimber will be leading an easy stroll around the park focusing on field sketching techniques. Don’t forget your bug spray and water! All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. We will meet at the covering adjacent the restrooms.

Ocoee River State Park is home to the internationally recognized whitewater sites along the "Mighty Ocoee" River. Tennessee State Parks began managing the river in 1984, along with the Hiwassee Scenic River, creating the Hiwassee/Ocoee River State Park. In 2025, the park split into the Hiwassee Scenic River State Park and the Ocoee River State Park to provide more dedicated resources to each area.
