Homeschool Days: Fungi in the Forest

Without fungi, our forests wouldn’t survive! Students will learn the roles of fungi in forest ecology, relevant vocabulary, and the different types of fruiting bodies (AKA mushrooms). After being introduced to the world of mycology, we will explore Red Clay for fungi!
This Homeschool Days is for students 4th grade & up. You MUST sign up for your child to participate.
There will be alternative activities for non-participating children, like nature bingo cards and coloring sheets. Please only register participating students.
We will meet at the Visitor Center to sign in and get started with the program. The program starts at 1:30 PM EST.
*Please note that registration will open on Saturday, August 1st at 12 PM EST.
