Mushroom ID Hike

Event Details

Ever wondered how to spot that shroom? Join Park Staff for a guided hike to identify some of the native mushroom species located within our park! The hike is roughly a mile in length, sturdy shoes and water is recommended. We will be meeting at the visitors center.

Discover the rugged beauty of Cummins Falls State Park, encompassing 457 acres in the hills of Jackson County. The park's namesake, Cummins Falls, is a breathtaking 75-foot waterfall that plunges into a natural swimming pool. Visitors can hike to scenic overlooks, explore the unique geology of the area, and wade in the refreshing waters of Blackburn Fork State Scenic River.
