1651 W. Elk Avenue, Elizabethton, TN 37643 (opens in new tab)Event Details
We have a fantastic pollinator garden on our grounds here at Sycamore Shoals, carefully maintained by our Maintenance Crew. Come learn all about it with Seasonal Interpreter Morgan McGregor! We’ll go in-depth on plants like Milkweed and Buttonbush, learn the difference between native and non-native pollinators, and talk about what we can do to help our pollinators out in our day-to-day lives. Meet in front of the Visitors Center for a ½ mile walk down to our pollinator garden, and please bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes to walk in. This program will last for about 45 minutes and is best suited for visitors ages 8 and up. In case of inclement weather, this program will be rescheduled.
