Event Details

Join park staff in celebrating the colors and creativity of autumn with painting some pumpkins! This fun-filled event invites participants of all ages to decorate their own pumpkins to take home and display for the season. Whether you prefer spooky, silly, or seasonal designs, you’ll have everything you need to make your pumpkin uniquely yours.


No carving—just painting—so it’s safe and easy for everyone! Participants will meet at the visitor's center. Pumpkins and paint supplies will be provided. Wear clothing you wouldn't mind getting a little paint on!


Cancellation Policy:

This program requires at least one participant to be signed up by the day before in order to be held. If the program is canceled, you will be notified via park staff.

The park's namesake, Cummins Falls, is a breathtaking 75-foot waterfall that plunges into a natural swimming pool. Visitors can hike to scenic overlooks, explore the unique geology of the area, and wade in the refreshing waters of Blackburn Fork State Scenic River.
