TN Serves & National Public Lands Day - Resource Management Skills

Join park staff and help serve during TN Serves and National Public Lands Day to help make a difference at Cummins Falls State Park!
Volunteers will join staff in working to remove invasive plants, such as Ailanthus, and perform other resource management tasks. Close-toed shoes and sturdy work pants are required. Personal work gloves are recommended, but the park has a limited amount available to volunteers. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for the work day.
Cancellation Policy:
There must be one participant in order for this event to be held. In the case of inclement weather and cancellation, volunteers will be notified via park staff.
Discover the rugged beauty of Cummins Falls State Park, encompassing 457 acres in the hills of Jackson County. The park's namesake, Cummins Falls, is a breathtaking 75-foot waterfall that plunges into a natural swimming pool. Visitors can hike to scenic overlooks, explore the unique geology of the area, and wade in the refreshing waters of Blackburn Fork State Scenic River.
