Event Details

After a summer full of rain, our hiking trails are in need of a little TLC. Come help park staff in completing trail maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, accessible hiking experience! 

Volunteers can expect to be working with large tools and to get dirty. Close-toed shoes are required and it's recommend volunteers bring plenty of water and snacks. Volunteers are encouraged to bring personal work gloves, the park has a limited number to loan. 


Cancellation Policy:

This event requires one volunteer in order to be held. In the case of inclement weather, volunteers will be notified via park staff.

The park's namesake, Cummins Falls, is a breathtaking 75-foot waterfall that plunges into a natural swimming pool. Visitors can hike to scenic overlooks, explore the unique geology of the area, and wade in the refreshing waters of Blackburn Fork State Scenic River.
