July is National River/Lake/Stream Clean Up Month! Please join us for a volunteer day of picking up trash, helping to beautify a portion of shoreline at Norris Dam State Park. We will be working in a cove called Gaylor Hollow (on the west side of the park near Park Headquarters - follow the sign that says "West Campground Closed" and head down that road until you come to a sign that reads "Gaylor Hollow") from 10:30am-12pm on Sunday, July 26th, and we will supply tools and disposable gloves. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring water and snacks, if desired. We will be in an area with some shade, but sunscreen and bug spray are still recommended. The area we will be working in is gravel, dirt, and rock and includes a moderately steep hill in order to get to the shoreline.
If you have questions, please call 425-865-4500. Thank you!
