Get to know one of our most prevalent park trees, the Black Walnut! Join Seasonal Interpreter Morgan McGregor for a walk around our park grounds and learn how to spot some of these beautiful trees. We will discuss historic and modern uses of the tree, and how we can best appreciate and preserve them from the threats they face. Meet in the Visitors Center for a 45-minute walk, and please bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled.
