Woodsy Round-up!

Event Details

Join Seasonal Ranger Adrianna for a ridiculous round-up of some pint-sized pals!

In this interactive program, we will run around a wooded field to stir up what insects we can and then “round them up” by making a circle with our bodies, allowing us to observe and discuss some of the smaller lifeforms that are often overlooked. After the “round-up,” participants will have an opportunity to draw or color some of the critters they observed.

This program is ideal for Pre K-4th grade, but all ages are welcome and encouraged! Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. It will last around 30 minutes and take place outside in grass and near wooded areas, so bug spray is recommended.
