Event Details

Join Clay on a guided hike along the Trail of Tears and explore the rich traditions of the Cherokee people through their legends, folklore, and traditional connections to the natural world. Along the trail, discover how plants, animals, landscapes, and natural phenomena played and continue to play important roles in Cherokee culture.

This will be a 2 mile out-and-back hike on uneven terrain, so please wear appropriate footwear and bring a bottle of water. We will meet at the southernmost trailhead where the Trail of Tears begins.
