Join Ranger Orion at Grundy Forest (Fiery Gizzard North Trailhead) for a hike and hands-on engaging lesson on Cherokee history at the Fiery Gizzard. Come prepared with water, sunscreen, and close toed shoes.

Fiery Gizzard State Park is located in two different Tennessee counties: Grundy and Marion. The park is composed of approximately 7,811 acres and boasts some of the best hiking and backcountry camping in the region. There are lots of areas to explore, including Fiery Gizzard, Denny Cove, and the Historical Grundy Lakes.
