This program is offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm. There is no set time for this program.
Participants will learn about the evolution of writing tools including pens, ink, paper, and envelopes. After writing their own letter (to keep or to give to someone else), participants will learn how to fold, address (historically), and seal their letters. Participants will keep their letters.

This day-use park centers around the site of the former town of Port Royal, established in 1797. Visitors can explore the restored 1859 General Store, walk along a preserved section of the Trail of Tears, and immerse themselves in stories of the past.
