During our Fall Festival we will be hosting a chili cook-off and a pie baking competition inside Spencer Hall (1200 Tims Ford Dr. Winchester, TN 37398). If you think you make the best chili or the best pie...sign up today for a chance to win some exciting prizes! All of our winners will receive gift baskets loaded down with curated baking and cooking items!
CHILI COOK-OFF:
- Free Entry for Chili Contestants
- 1 Winner
- Judging Scale: 100% Flavor
Contestants will need to be set up inside Spencer Hall by 1pm as voting will only last for one hour. Contestants will need to bring pre-made chili in a crockpot or something similar to keep it warm (outlets will be available). The winner will be announced at 2pm, and will be based on popular vote by fall festival guests.
PIE BAKING COMPETITION:
- $5 Entry Fee
- Winner for each Category
- Judging Scale: Flavor 75%, Appearance 25%
- Apple, Pecan, and Pumpkin Pie Categories
Contestants will have until 10:00am to bring their pie to Spencer Hall. All pies must adhere to the three listed categories; failure to do so will result in termination. The judge's ruling will be announced at 11:00am.
