Gentle Hike & Nature Connection

Event Details

Join licensed professional counselor, Dr. Suzie Dukic, to learn how to be more mindful in nature and how nature can affect our mental health.

Meet at the parking area near the dam on Lakeside Drive. We will promptly begin our hike at 8:00am. We will hike along the paved trail to the lodge and back for a total hike of 2.6 miles. This trail follows the shoreline of the lake and is a great opportunity to view some wildlife as well.

This program is designed for adults 16 and older. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes!

About your host:

Dr. Dukic is licensed as a professional clinical mental health counselor in Tennessee, and has been counseling in private practive since 2011. Her expertise includes couples counseling, mindfulness practice, anxiety disorders, and identity development. Her favorite past-time is spending time with her two dogs, her grown children, her granddaughter, and anything in nature-- mindfulness walks, camping, hiking, snow-skiing, etc.
