Event Details

Join SIR Kimber for this easy hike along Goforth Creek where we will soak in the sights and sounds of nature with mindfulness practices along the way. Bring water, snacks, bug spray, and sturdy shoes that can get wet. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. Be aware parking is VERY limited and first-come, first-served.

Ocoee River State Park is home to the internationally recognized whitewater sites along the "Mighty Ocoee" River. Tennessee State Parks began managing the river in 1984, along with the Hiwassee Scenic River, creating the Hiwassee/Ocoee River State Park. In 2025, the park split into the Hiwassee Scenic River State Park and the Ocoee River State Park to provide more dedicated resources to each area.
