Come join SIR Kandace for a guided tour of the reconstructed birthplace cabin and kitchen garden. Cordell Hull was born on this property in 1871 and lived here for the first four years of his life with his family. His life and legacy began here. During the tour, we will discuss items in the cabin and what the daily life of a sharecropper or homesteader might have looked like in this area in the late 1800s. We will meet in the museum to start the tour.
This program will partially take place outside, so wear weather appropriate clothing.
This program will last about 15-30 minutes and is suitable for visitors of all ages.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
