Join Ranger Hannah at the Fiery Gizzard North trailhead for a lovely hike on the Grundy Forest Day Loop and enjoy the natural beauty of the Fiery Gizzard - waterfalls, forests, and all of the many reasons we love the park!
Hikers should dress accordingly for the weather, wear sturdy hiking boots, and bring water. The Grundy Forest Day Loop is a moderate 2-mile loop with rocky terrain and slight elevation gains.
Hikers will be emailed 24hrs prior to the hike should it need to be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Registration for this program is required as space is limited.

The park is composed of approximately 7,811 acres and boasts some of the best hiking and backcountry camping in the region. There are lots of areas to explore, including Fiery Gizzard, Denny Cove, and the Historical Grundy Lakes.
