Whooo loves owls? Join Ranger Codi for a fun-filled adventure into the mysterious world of owls!

Kids will discover what makes owls such amazing nighttime hunters as we explore their unique adaptations, incredible senses, different species found in Tennessee, and the important role they play in our ecosystems. We’ll learn how owls hunt, communicate, camouflage themselves, and even explore some of the fascinating clues they leave behind!


Junior Outdoor Explorers is a new educational series hosted at the White County Public Library. Join Ranger Codi as our Junior Explorers will learn different topics as it relates to our community, our park, and the wildlife that surrounds us.


This program will be held at the White County Public Library on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4:00PM. The address is 11 North Church Street, Sparta, Tennessee 38583.
