Meet at: The Old Stone Fort Group Camp (We will have signs and I will also send you a map circling where to drive, drop off, and park.)
Old Stone Fort will be hosting our annual Jr. Ranger Camp this year on June 22nd-26th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Our camp will be full of opportunities to experience nature, history, wildlife, safety, and a chance to be outside! At the end of the week, each participant will be sworn in as a Junior Ranger for Tennessee State Parks.
This camp is open to children from 8-12 years old. The registration fee ($85) will include a Jr. Ranger shirt, snacks, graduation lunch, and all activities. Friday, June 26th at 11:00 AM, there will be a Junior Ranger Graduation that parents/guardians are encouraged to come celebrate!
Registration will open on April 21st .
IMPORTANT: After you have registered your child, you will receive a registration link and detailed agenda (closer to time of camp for the agenda) via e-mail, so please provide a valid email. You must have this completed to participate.
Each day Participants will need to:
- Bring snacks
- Arrive in appropriate attire for the day...
- boots, tennis shoes, or a form of close-toed shoes are required
- water day - a type of water shoe is required (no flip flops); arrive with swim attire already on
- Bring a refillable water bottle
- SUNSCREEN and bug spray if you need it!
- Bring a backpack or bag
- If applicable - a note card listing any medical conditions, allergies and epi-pen
- A hat or head cover for sun protection
- A bath/beach towel that can get dirty (daily)
Registration is first come first serve - online, once you register I will send an email with the link to the documentation that you must fill out before your child can attend.
No refunds are given without calling the Park Office. We require at least 2-week notice for cancellation so we have time to fill the empty space with another participant.
