Event Details

Join SIR Ellie for a nice relaxing kayak float to Travis Hollow Bridge! We will be learning about the history of Tims Ford Lake. Please bring clothes and shoes that can get wet because there will be a chance to get in the water. Also bring water and sun protection. Kayaks will be provided.

Located on Tims Ford Reservoir, the 3,546-acre Tims Ford State Park sits in the shadows of the Cumberland Plateau in south-central Tennessee. One of the Bill Dance Signature Lakes, Tims Ford Lake is considered one of the most picturesque in Tennessee and is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast.
