Think you have what it takes to spear throw like it's the Old World?
Come experience the ancient art of Atlatl spear throwing at Cummins Falls. Led by park staff, this program offers participants the opportunity to learn about and practice using the atlatl, a primitive hunting tool utilized by ancient civilizations worldwide. Participants can expect to learn about the history and practical use of the tool, as well as proper throwing techniques.
Requirements: Open to participants of ages 8+ and all skill levels. Comfortable outdoor attire and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
In the case of inclement weather, participants will be notified by park staff.
