Event Details

Join us for Session 1 of Mini Ranger Camp, a beginner Junior Ranger experience for 5 to 8-year-olds!

Mini Ranger Camp is a two-hour experience for children ages 5 through 8 years old who are interested in nature. Children will explore nature through a sensory scavenger hunt and listen to Cherokee stories with our ambassador bunny, Tito.

We ask that each child have at least ONE adult with them (family can have just one adult). Adults MUST sign their child(ren) up in advance to participate.

We will meet at the Visitor Center to get started with Mini Ranger Camp. We hope to see you there!

Participants are NOT required to attend both sessions! Choose the session that aligns best with your schedule and your child's interests.

Visitors can explore replica Cherokee structures, a sacred spring, and the Eternal Flame memorial, all while immersing themselves in the poignant history of this land. The park offers a serene and reflective experience, inviting guests to connect with nature and learn about a pivotal moment in Cherokee history.
