National Public Lands Day and Girl Scouts Love TN State Parks
Event Details
Mousetail Landing State Park is combining National Public Lands Day with Girl Scouts Love State Parks. The hammock poles in our Scout Camp need to be replaced so our scouts that come visit can have a peaceful and safe way to hang out in their hammocks. We will be placing utility poles in holes and securing them in the ground. There are a total of six poles that we will need to replace. All of the poles will be provided by the park. We will provide tools and gloves for the task. We plan on having pre dug holes before the event. That is subject to change. Please bring plenty of water and dress for the weather. The time that is provided is just a rough estimate. Depending on how many people we have, it may take more time or less time to complete the task. We will meet at the North Playground located beyond the Main Campground. We appreciate any help.
