Event Details

We are excited to partner with the American Hiking Society (AHS) to celebrate National Trails Day on June 6, 2025!

Millions of people have found physical, mental, and emotional restoration on our trails at Tennessee State Parks. We will be meeting at 10:00am at the Twin Falls parking lot at the end of Powerhouse Road. We will start our hike at Twin Falls and make our way downstream past the Blue Hole before returning on this 1.7-mile loop (Downstream Trail). Be sure to bring plenty of water and dress appropriately for the potential hot weather. There are no restrooms or facilities there, so be sure to take care of any needs before coming over.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled, and all attendees will be notified by text message or email, so be sure to provide a good contact when signing up.
