Join Seasonal Ranger Kat for a lesson in the history and writing of naturalist poetry! Reading and writing poetry is a way to connect more deeply with the world around us, making us appreciate the small moments. We will spend some time reading some nature poetry and studying some techniques before writing our own poems.
We will be making a small hike from Badger Flats to a picnic table in the area, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. You are more than welcome to bring your own journal, though paper will be provided for you. Please bring water and a snack if you would like. Bathrooms will be available throughout the duration of the program.
