This event is part of the larger Astronomy Fest event, be sure to check out other programs happening throughout the afternoon. Join us for Astronomy Fest, a day filled with astronomy activities for all ages and experiences. Starting at 3pm at the Multi-sport Facility, enjoy a variety of programs covering topics like planets, telescopes, nighttime photography, and more. End the night with an evening of night sky viewing alongside our resident astronomers.
Join our Nighttime Photography class to Learn how to take photographs of the night sky using your DSLR or Point and Shoot camera. Learn what settings are necessary to get the best photographs of the night sky. Try out your skills at the evening night sky viewing with instructors around to assist.
This program will take place at the Pavilion at the Multi-Sport Facility at 3pm. Restrooms, concessions, and directions can be found n the Multi-Sport Facility lodge building.
Please bring all photography Equipment with you, including your own camera and tripod if available.
