Event Details

We will depart from the Tims Ford State Park Nature Center at 1:00pm, and hike approximately 6.5 miles along the Lost Creek Overlook trail and Evans Point trail until we reach our lakefront backcountry campsite. During our trek we'll have the opportunity to observe several exciting state park landmarks, including our swinging bridges and Devil's Den Cave! The next morning, participants will have the option to be shuttled back to the main park by boat. Only breakfast the next morning will be provided, so be sure to bring your dinner, as well as plenty of water and snacks. Additionally, our campsite is near the water so make sure to pack swimwear if you want to take a swim!

The price of program includes a campfire breakfast provided by park staff and a pontoon boat ride back to the main park.
