River, Lake, and Stream Clean Up

Volunteering
Fri, Jun 26, 2026 to Wed, Jul 29, 2026

Event Details

Help restore the shorelines of Pickwick Lake and its tributaries after the busy 4th of July celebration!  We'll have two volunteer workdays days for this event!  Both will be early mornings to beat the heat of the summer.  Meet your volunteer coordinator at the Park Office at 8:00 am and we'll break into groups to collect trash in the needed areas.  Gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags will be provided.  Please wear sun protection, bug spray, and closed toe shoes.

Our first volunteer cleanup day will be July 22nd from 8:00 am - 10:00 am.  The second volunteer cleanup day will be July 29th from 8:00 am - 10:00 am.  Once you register, you will receive an email from park staff to verify which day you have selected.
