Event Details

Join SIR Megan at the Scott Fitzhugh Bridge Pavilion from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm to hear an overview of the history of Kentucky Lake and Paris Landing State Park. We will cover an overview of Bradford's Landing, the towns that once were here, why the Kentucky Dam was built, the Kentucky Dam's construction, the founding of the state park, and more. 

To conclude, there will be photo albums of these events along with photos of how the area once looked. 

Please remember to bring water and lawn chairs.
