**This event is Saturday June 6th**

Join licensed professional counselor, Dr. Suzie Dukic, to learn how to be more mindful in nature and how nature can affect our mental health. We will be discussing mindfulness techniques as we enjoy the sunrise from Buzzard's Roost.

Meet at 5:30am at Millikan's Overlook. We will have a discussion and practice being mindful as we enjoy the beautiful sunrise. We will be hiking approximately 2/10th of a mile to Buzzard's Roost. This hike includes navigating some rocky terrain and steep edge cliff edges.

This program is designed for adults ages 16 and older. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes! Please bring a headlamp or flashlight as we will be starting in low light conditions.

Registration deadline is 6:00pm the day before the hike.

About your host:

Dr. Dukic is licensed as a professional clinical mental health counselor in Tennessee, and she has been counseling in private practice since 2011. Her expertise includes couples' counseling, mindfulness practice, anxiety disorders, and identity development. Her favorite past-time is spending time with her two dogs; Arya and Sansa, her grown children, her grand-daughter, and anything in nature; mindfulness walks, camping, hiking, snow skiing, etc.
