Event Details

Join us for a peaceful evening paddle as we venture out onto Fort Patrick Henry Reservoir. Park Ranger Ethan will guide the group as we make our way toward the scenic tailwaters of Fall Creek

Along the way, we’ll take time to explore the natural and cultural history of the park and surrounding region. We’ll also keep an eye out for wildlife, native plants, and any other natural features that reveal themselves as the light begins to soften across the water.

As the sun dips behind the surrounding hills and ridges, we will make our return to the cove where our journey began, experiencing the reservoir’s evening colors from the best seat in the house—our kayaks.
