 ***Pre-registration is required prior to day of event***

Learn about the Trail of Tears and walk in the somber footsteps of the Native Americans who traveled through Lawrenceburg on their way to Indian Territory (Oklahoma) in 1838. This will be a moderate, 4.5-mile there-and-back trek with flat terrain and stops for discussion along the way. Be sure to bring plenty of water and hiking shoes. 


If registering as a group, please contact your host via email to let them know how many to expect to attend. Children who haven't started kindergarten are welcome to participate but need not register. Donations allow our park to preserve, protect, and share this resource and its story.
