    Annual Signature Hikes

The first Saturday in June is our annual day to celebrate hiking trails in Tennessee.

This is one of four signature hikes we host every year. Tennessee State Parks offer a variety of Ranger-led day hikes, night hikes, history hikes, nature hikes, and trail clean-up hikes. With more than 1,300 miles of trails ranging from easy, paved trails to rugged backcountry trails and scenic waterways we have something for everyone.

Celebrate American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day®

Celebrating American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day® provides the perfect opportunity to set off on a local trail with others in your community. Join the nationwide movement to give back to trails and build a world where everyone feels welcome and has access to enjoy the great outdoors. Millions of hikers, bikers, paddlers, horseback riders, trail clubs, federal and local agencies, land trusts, and businesses come together in partnership across the country to forge a more inclusive trail community and advocate for, maintain, and clean up public lands and trails. See the events Tennessee State Parks will be offering below—more hikes will be added closer to the event date!

(Please remember, schedules and events may change - contact the park or hike leader for more information.)
