CLEVELAND – Red Clay State Historic Park will host the Cherokee Cultural Celebration on Saturday and Sunday, August 9-10, featuring demonstrations, traditional dancing, craft vendors, and food vendors from federally recognized Cherokee tribes.

SPARTA – The upper parking lot at Burgess Falls State Park will be unavailable while construction continues for a new visitors center and other features at the park.

KINGSPORT – Darrell’s Dream Boundless Playground at Warriors’ Path State Park will be closed Saturday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. for the 18th Annual Fall Day of Caring/Day of Service volunteer cleanup at the park.
