Join SIR Kimber to learn the history of the Olympics at the Ocoee on a guided hike around the Olympic Section. Bring sturdy shoes, bug spray, water, sunscreen, and snacks! We will meet at the park map sign next to the restrooms near the bridge at the end of the Olympic Section main parking area. All ages, minors must be with an adult. Please register. (*$3 parking fee)

1-888-867-2757Ocoee River State Park is home to the internationally recognized whitewater sites along the "Mighty Ocoee" River. Tennessee State Parks began managing the river in 1984, along with the Hiwassee Scenic River, creating the Hiwassee/Ocoee River State Park. In 2025, the park split into the Hiwassee Scenic River State Park and the Ocoee River State Park to provide more dedicated resources to each area.
