Come join Park Manager Steve Ward on Friday, November 27th at 8am for a strenuous 2+ hour hike to see our 29 newest acres of land as part of the Harris Ridge Trail Project. All 29 acres were purchased thanks to the partnership between the State of Tennessee and Friends of Radnor Lake. This hike is considered strenuous, registration required and will be for ages 13 and up. No pets allowed and anyone attending will be unable to leave early so please take that into consideration when registering. Anyone attending this hike is encouraged to wear good hiking shoes, bring water and hiking poles for this strenuous hike that begins at 800 Old Hickory Blvd as we discuss the future trail planning process, new planned parking area and trailhead all part of the Harris Ridge Trail Project. This strenuous hike will start promptly at 8am, anyone late for this hike will be unable to join out of respect for our registered participants and park staff time. We will have additional opportunities including moderate hikes to see this new land with additional hikes planned for December and January if anyone is unable to attend this scheduled hike.
