Event Details

Let your creativity run wild at Art in the Park! This month, we will be working with watercolor to capture the beauty of Bledsoe Creek State Park. Whether it's our rich local history, protected wetlands, or abundant wildlife, you'll leave with an art piece that represents your love for TN State Parks!


Ranger Abby will provide materials, tips and tricks, and reference photos. No prior experience required!


The Outdoor Classroom Picnic Benches are located between the Raccoon Creek Playground and Outdoor Classroom. Parking available in Visitor Center parking lot and Raccoon Creek Lane Day Use spaces. The playground parking lot will be closed on this day for an event.

Bledsoe Creek State Park, encompassing 169 acres, is a haven for outdoor recreation nestled on the shores of Old Hickory Lake. Visitors can explore a protected wetland from the Observation Boardwalk, Birdsong Trail and Shoreline Trail. The park offers hiking trails with scenic vistas, camping with lake views, and opportunities for fishing and boating, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
