Spring Astronomy Night at Cedars of Lebanon State Park
The stars are calling! Join us for a special evening of astronomy as we turn to the sky with special guest and their telescopes.
The night begins at 7:30 PM with an engaging presentation about the constellations, planets, galaxies, star clusters, and other celestial objects visible this time of year. As darkness settles in, around 8:00 PM, the stars will start to illuminate the sky. We’ll practice star hopping, map constellations, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the night while waiting for the stars to fully appear. Viewing will continue until 10pm or midnight if skies remain clear.

What to Bring
- Chairs or blankets for seating

Please avoid flashing lights, including light-up shoes.
Weather Plan
In the event of severe weather, the program will be canceled. If cloud cover prevents good visibility, the event will transition into a guided night hike. Update emails will be sent by 4:00 PM on the day of the event.
