Event Details

Join us for our 6th annual ranger-led hike along the riverbank on the Island Loop Trail at Pickwick Landing State Park! The 2.8-mile trail features woodsy terrain and shorelines. We encourage you to dress in the Christmas spirit for some great photos and fun memories! Please wear closed-toed shoes. The trail has tree roots that can be tripping hazards and a few areas that could be muddy. There is a gradual elevation gain of 118ft. Bug spray, water, and Christmas smiles are recommended. Meet at the Island Loop Trailhead in the Cabin Area. It is free to attend, but donations are welcome.

A Tennessee RiverLine Local Leadership Team will greet hikers with Tennessee RiverLine information and a souvenir Fit as a Fiddle keychain!

In the event of rain, we will meet in the Pickwick Room at The Lodge to make a festive pinecone bird feeder.
