Day After Thanksgiving Hike

Join the staff of Fort Pillow at 10:00 am as we take a hike down sections of the Historic Red and Yellow trails for a total of approximately 3 miles. On the way we will go over the new suspension bridge, through the restored fortification, over our cottonwood bridge, and walk along the 1861 Earthworks. Coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks will be provided before and after the event. During the hike the Friends of Fort Pillow will have items hid throughout the trail and participants could win prizes if these items are found. After the hike the Friends of Fort Pillow will be raffling off a handmade hiking stick. Those attending the hike will be able to purchase tickets to win this locally crafted handmade hiking stick.
