Event Details

When darkness falls, the park comes alive with the glow of thousands of fireflies! Join Clay at the picnic tables outside Shelter 1 to learn how to recognize different species by their flashing patterns and discover the important role these insects play in the nighttime ecosystem. Bug spray is recommended, unless you'd like to try your hand at catching a few fireflies yourself!
