Trail work Day Come out and give back! Join Ranger Ross for a trail work day. We will be meeting at the Park Visitor Center. We expect to be out of the woods by 3:00pm. Please bring work clothes, hiking boots, a sack lunch and plenty of water. We will be working and hiking so wear sturdy hiking boots. Frozen Head State Park encompasses over 24,000 acres of rugged wilderness in the Cumberland Mountains. Named for the 3,324-foot peak often shrouded in ice during winter, the park offers a primitive and unplugged experience for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike to the iconic Lookout Tower, explore cascading waterfalls, and discover the remnants of a historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp.
