Take this opportunity to step back in time and learn what life was like for folks in the 1800s in Morgan County! Join Ranger Aubrey at the Stonecipher Kelly Homeplace (141 Beech Fork Rd., Wartburg) for a guided tour through the site. Learn about the history of the Cumberland Plateau and the families that inhabited the home. Registration is required.

Frozen Head State Park encompasses over 24,000 acres of rugged wilderness in the Cumberland Mountains. Named for the 3,324-foot peak often shrouded in ice during winter, the park offers a primitive and unplugged experience for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike to the iconic Lookout Tower, explore cascading waterfalls, and discover the remnants of a historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp.
