Event Details

Join Ranger Grant on this adventurous 1.6-mile night hike to Hazard Cave on the Hazard Cave Trail Loop and learn about the park’s history. Experience the park from this unique perspective under the stars as old-fashioned oil lanterns lead the way. Flashlights will not be allowed unless they are equipped with a red lens. Oil lanterns will be provided to all participants. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled. Meet at picnic shelter 2 at 9:00 pm. There is a $10.00 fee for this hike and $5.00 for children under the age of 10. Hike is limited to 12 participants. 

Participants should be prepared by wearing sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing, and bringing a sufficient supply of water. This hike is moderate difficulty and contains some rugged terrain and elevation.
