Students will discuss the importance of decomposition in nutrient cycling in our environment. They will learn about the organisms that decompose rotting logs then have an opportunity to roll rotting logs and record their observations.
This Homeschool Days is for students 4th grade & up. There will be alternative activities for non-participating children, like nature bingo cards and coloring sheets. Please only register participating students.
You MUST sign up for your child to participate.
We will meet at the Visitor Center to sign in and get started with the program. The program starts at 1:30 PM EST.
*Please note that registration will open on Saturday, August 1st at 12 PM EST.
