Event Details

Did you know that Long Hunter State Park is home to a Mounted Patrol Horse? Come join Ranger McDonald and her partner Virgil to learn more! Meet Ranger McDonald at the Visitor Center to learn all about the mounted patrol unit and what they do. You will get a 1 on 1 interaction with Virgil and see what it's like to care for him each day. Registration is required and costs $5 per person. Each registration fee comes with a Mounted Patrol sticker. Donations are optional but always appreciated! Each donation goes to the Mounted Patrol and helping provide for Virgil.
